Picking up a camera always helps me relax and wash away the stresses of everyday life. I love capturing the moments and sights that catch my eye, no matter where I am. While I'm more into landscapes, I certainly don't restrict myself to that. Objects, macro, wildlife, night.... if it grabs me, I'll be looking through the viewfinder. Living in a rural area and traveling into pastoral and semi-remote areas, I get to see some of the less common parts of our amazing country. As a very parochial Australian / South Australian, being included in Austockphoto is a pretty exciting prospect and a great excuse to get out shooting more.
