My name is Mado. I am Brazilian/Japanese and I have a degree in Fine Arts at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). I have been living in Sydney since 2007. I have developed my works since 2002, participating in various exhibitions and Art contests in Brazil and other countries like Japan, France, Mexico and Australia. I used photography as a base for my work development for years. Since my daughter was born I had to be away from chemicals in my art studio and I decided to use photography as main media to work with. I love to photograph food and architectural but my passion is landscape. My happiest moments are when I am sitting down and capturing the sunset light using long exposures.
