I love taking photos, though I am an enthusiastic amateur and not a professional photographer. I started taking photos when I was an aid worker, travelling the world being inspired by people and places. The arrival of twins stopped my wanderlust lifestyle (for awhile at least) and saw me return to my hometown – Wombat, NSW. I started taking photos much closer to home – often in the house! – largely because leaving the house in those early days of parenthood was a real challenge. So my photography changed focus from travel to still life, landscapes and family. Today my girls are a little older and we travel further than the house. I take photos as often as I can – inspired these days by our wonderful people and country. As a farmer and passionate plant person I'm often snapping rural scenes and plant and garden portraits.
